Ukraine. Originally trio performed free-improvised jazz with nonverbal singing. Developed
their own alternative Rock language due to unusual guitar tuning. First show came at
Molodist Cinema Festival '91. In 1992 Yuri "Polch" Polchenko was invited by
Independent Music Network (Carbondale, IL) for the joint musical project. During that
visit he showed at californian (Ukiah) Russian River Studio (owner Ken Ingels) all line of his English songs written by
him. In 1992 group obtained grant of British Embassy in Ukraine for album recording. MIST
OF DANCE album with 11 songs was finished in four month's at DZZ Studio, Kyiv. In
1997 they invited violinist and singer Maryana (on the left, image on T-shirt). Last,
Ukrainian album SPLYAT YANGOLI (ANGELS SLEEP) was finished early 1998 and became favorite
DJ' choice for a national FM-stations. |
